My good friend showed me this place, we were working together then, and during lunch we decided to go to this place. I ordered soup and their signature bao. I really love all sorts of different soups, and this soup made me very happy, perhaps this is one of the best soups I've ever tasted in Portland. After that time, I often go to this place when I'm in town. And every time I enjoy the food in this place, I also now recommend bao bao to all my friends, and I will continue to visit this place, because they are very tasty. I also want to give a separate blog thanks to the staff for their attentiveness and kindness, thank you.

I liked that they have added some newer items on the menu since my last visit. They're not much seating inside, but they do have a few small tables outside. We tried some of their newer items - hot and sour noodle soup and jajangmyeon. We also got some soup dumplings and wonton soup. The flavors of the soup were great and worth trying

what a hidden gem!! this place was cute and casual while having some of the best chinese food i've had recently coming from california i am spoiled for choice when it comes to chinese so i was surprised at portland's quality the suan la fen noodles were soo chewy and bouncy, super QQ. the bao were fresh and soft, though id skip the curry for the mushroom and pork ones. loved the dumplings too. you dont often see boiled ones but its my fav way of having dumplings, the skin gets nice and doughy like homestyle cooking. there were a variety of sauces including soy and black vinegar prices were cheap and reasonable, and they have fun bevs too. slayed!!

Wonderful in every aspect. The food -- so freakin amazing. I recommend the Lotus Bao, it was delicious. The service was great, everyone was super friendly and lovely to converse with. Something I didn't expect was how tranquil the environment would be. Bao Bao has this warm and welcoming aura that is like no other. You can watch the chef make the bao, and it's a mesmerizing sight. I can sense the passion and love that goes into each twist of the dough. Can't wait to come back. :)
